Why I Trust You Anyway

"No distrust made him waver concerning the promise of God,
but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God,
fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised."
—Romans 4:20-21

"As believers, we cannot always know why,
but we can always know why we trust God, who knows why.
A Christian does not say,
'I do not understand You at all, but I trust You anyway.'
Rather, he says,
'I do not understand You in this situation,
but I understand why I trust You anyway.'"

  1. *hugs* to you, Marissa.
He makes all things beautiful in His time.
Not knowing why can either make me discontent or at peace knowing He has it all in control. Thank you for that reminder. I know I do trust Him come what may no matter what, but I hadn't quite thought of it like that.
